The Madness has Arrived...

When I married into the Hoekstra family, I soon discovered that March Madness was up there in excitement-level with Christmas (and of course the Super Bowl, College Football, etc.)! The first time I came out to California to visit Matthew and meet his family was an eye-openning experience. You see, my husband kind of yells at the TV during sporting events...this I did not know. It is done in good fun, but for an unexpecting girlfriend, was quite shocking! I've now become accostomed to his "outbursts" as I fondly refer to them, and now love this little quirk of his. I've also embraced his love for sports because it's a lot funner caring than not, the way I figure it. I've developed some pretty strong affinities towards certain teams, and much to his dismay sometimes this means I'm cheering against his team. So now I'm not sure if he likes it that I love sports as much as I do, because he gets pretty upset when my teams beat his! Anyways, so far I'm 7 for 7 in our bracket challenge! Wish me luck!! :) GO UCLA!!!
