Please Continue to Pray

Ryan and Ashley met with the Doctor yesterday and received the news that we've been dreading for several weeks. Tests confirmed that their son Case has SMA (spinal muscular atrophy). Please continue to uplift our family in your prayers! Pray for Ryan and Ashley as they process this, and face many difficult days in the future. Today, the prayer that is weighing heaviest on my heart is that the Lord would equip them with the strength that they need to bear this earthly burden, and also grant them a peace that passes all understanding which stems only from the love and mercy of our heavenly Father...Case's heavenly Father!!

When faced with a situation like this as a mother or grandma, I imagine that the verse Philipians 4:13 is read in a different light, "I (WE) can do all things through Christ who gives me (US) strength." Much love to my mom and sister today!!

I am so grateful that I will be able to go home for a week in August to spend some time with my family.

We will definitely lift them up in prayer. I pray that they continue to rely on God's strength! Let me know if you ever need to talk!

Try try again!Lost the first one.
Ryan & Ashley shared with the extended family last night, the heavy news of SMA diagnosis for baby Case. 'Twas a night to celebrate life though, like Ashley said. Grandpa's 75 yrs. Ashley 23 and LIFE-Case is 5 months old today so Feb.28 is an important date.
and there were all nine great grand children full of life last night.
Case is beautiful!!Bright shiny eyes! Big smiles and delightful coo's. He was studying his own little fingers-SO precious!
Love goes deep for this precious little one who our LORD formed in Ashley's womb. It will take supernatural strength to see him through SMA. Ashley & Ryan have a strong spirit and the Holy Spirit.
But, He allows for tears! I"m discovering tears come easy.
Still, there's such joy in his beautiful little face. I know God has Case's time on this earth in His hands and in reality has an angel appointed to watch over him through this valley.
LORD, send mercy, kindness and spiritual strength. Father God, we love baby Cornelius and know that your love is far more perfect than any of us humans.
So glad you're coming soon Robyn!
