Things I miss about Yosemite when we come home...
no hurry
no agenda
no to-do list
daily & hourly reminders of God's majesty literally everywhere I look
the ability to read multiple books in one week
the food....everything tastes better when you're camping....seriously
waking up with the cutest baby in the world in between Matt & I (she didn't make it all night every night in the pack n' play...& her dad's a softy)
fresh air
s'mores
hooded sweatshirts
the sound of the river
biking through the meadow
sneaking away to get ice cream with my hubby
dinner around a picnic table with a red & white checkered table cloth
less opportunity (and urgency) to look in a mirror
the smell of campfire
many amazing views of Half Dome
waterfalls....
so many things.
We made many new memories in Yosemite last week, memories that will last a lifetime. From the moment I leave, I will always look forward to going back.
