the mundane.

Monday:

-Emma started cutting her second tooth...

-I got to drive our new truck to work for the first time because Matt commutes to the high dessert on Mondays (& Fridays). I only almost clutched on the break once! Switching back and forth from stick to automatic is going to be tricky!

Tuesday:

-1/2 day of work. woot woot.

-Cranky, fussy baby. Blame it on teething. Baby didn't sleep well at night and we were up a lot. I was reminded what it's like to have one that DOESN'T sleep through the night. Feels like forever ago that we were in that stage.

-On the plus side, felt like it was cool enough to go on an afternoon walk for the first time in quite a while. I feel like we've been pretty cooped up in the house these last few weeks. So ready for fall!

Wednesday:

-Tired mama.

Thursday:

-sick or teething?? Now I'm not sure. Baby with runny nose and glassy, sunken in eyes :(

-freshman won their football game! yippee! go daddy!!!

-Started watching Big Bang Theory season 4 with hubby. We both fell asleep on couch at 8:30.

Friday:

-Emma woke up at 5 am. We slept on the couch together from 6:50-8:30 this morning. This messes up schedule but I'm pretty sure you let a sick baby sleep whenever she wants. She's been sleeping since 11.

-Text from sister-in-law (a.k.a. babysitter) - "I woke up with sore throat and headache. fyi i think emma is sick" :(

-Hoping for a good afternoon so we can go to JV & Varsity football games tonight. Might recruit grandma to babysit!

Not a horrible week by any stretch of the imagination, I have so much to be thankful for, just feeling bogged down by the mundane this morning.
