lately

I can't find my camera cord...hope I can share Easter pics with you soon! In the mean time...here's just a glimpse at what my little lady's been up to lately.

Last week Friday morning I babysat my friend's six-month old son. After Emma woke up from her nap I peaked in to the back room while I was in the kitchen making dinner and she had pulled the boppy of the couch...I guess she was a little jealous of all the attention Jake got and she wanted to be just like him :)

We had a gorgeous week last week with most days in the 80's so we pulled out the kiddy-pool on Sunday and Emma had a blast!!

In other news - our big girl went potty 3x this weekend on the toilet (with little to no effort on our part). She'd been showing some signs of being ready so I took her to Target last week and she picked out a Sesame Street potty seat and princess panties. Out of the blue on Saturday she started dragging her Auntie Mer down the hallway to the bathroom saying, "potty." So we quickly put her on and...she went! We're going to dedicate the next two days (since I'm off work) to pretty much staying at home and trying the "potty training in 24-hours" method. Wish us luck!! I can't believe my baby is so grown up! Not sure I'm ready to take the next step and put her in a toddler bed :(
