Friday was the last regular season football game, which means playoffs start this weekend! It also meant that daddy had to go to CIF meetings in LA on Sunday, so we decided to go on a mommy-daughter date, just me & my girl. After Emma woke up from her nap, we headed out to go visit Mickey Mouse! We opted to go to Disney's California Adventure, which was a great choice because we pretty much walked on to most of the rides Emma loves (3 of Emma's favorite little rides in A Bug's Land, King Triton's Carousel, the Rocket Ships, and the Little Mermaid)...in between we stopped for some ice cream because it was HOT.
And on our way out we got an up close and personal view of Mickey himself in a cute little street show. Emma danced on the street and we took in the feel of the newly renovated entrance to CA Adventure...love the vibe there! It was a great afternoon, and we arrived home shortly after daddy got back from his meetings.
