rapunzel

Sometimes I forget that my daughter is developing a mind of her own.....until she reminds me! Yesterday when we got home, she was insistent upon putting her "punzel" dress on instead, so off we went with our little princess. We had our first real Trick or Treating experience last night and it was super fun! We went out with our neighbors, who are also great friends. Can't help but wonder what these two "stinkers" (no, pun intended, haha) Emma & Tessa are going to be like in five years. Trouble, indeed. For the most part the girls rode in the wagon from house to house, while Jake led the parade. Emma would squeal as we left each house and say "more candy!!!!" And on occasion if the bowl got down on her level, she'd just help herself, but was usually pretty good at saying "thank you!" There were quite a few people sitting out on their driveways with neighbors or friends, handing out candy while they sat around a little fire. We loved that idea, and are filing it away for next year!
