Is that what we're called? Well, regardless, I love reading other people's blogs, and I like to write, so I guess I've officially succumbed to the online world of blogging by creating my own. In addition, since I live what sometimes feels like a world away from my family, I thought it would be a nice way to stay connected, and let y'all in on "my everyday world." I don't really know how often I'll post, or even what I'm going to write about, but I like the idea, that's all!
For those of you dialing in from the midwest, or anywhere cold for that matter, it's 80 degrees today!!!! In fact, I layed out on the beach in my swimming suit and all on Friday. Had you been here to share it with me, it would have been a nearly perfect day! When I called my dad on my way to work yesterday, he was on a roof shingling, it was 6 degrees and there were 15 mph winds...Yikes! Sorry, I still haven't gotten over the childish urge to call home during the winter anytime the temperature gets above 70 in California. So all I have to say is COME VISIT! :)

Will be nice to stay caught up this way. We use our blog mostly for sharing pictures and stuff, but it is a good way to communicate. It is just above freezing here and feels warm compared to the deep freeze we've been in lately. Some day we will have to take a holiday your way. Don't be a stranger!

I noticed your blogspot site on Facebook. Thought I'd check it out. Grandma Bonnie told me I should start my own - maybe one day. : ) I have to admit that I'm a bit envious of you and you 70-80 degree weather (although, not convinced I need to be in a swimsuit anytime soon!!!). I'm just happy to be out of the sub-zero temps for now! Anyway, enjoy your new blog - I look forward to checking it out from time to time to see what you guys are up to. : )
