Breast Cancer 3-Day

This August my college roommate, Maria, will be participating in an event called the Breast Cancer 3-Day. Starting August 8 she and her sister will be walking 60 miles over the course of three days to support breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment through Susan G. Komen for the Cure. She's committed to raising $2,200 for the cause. Maria is walking in memory of her mom, Sharon, an amazing woman who died of breast cancer in 2006. I know you don't know Maria, but I'm guessing breast cancer has touched many of you in some way or other. Six months ago my Grandma Bonnie began the fight against breast cancer, and she just recently received a clean bill of health! Praise the Lord!!
