Wow -- 3 years has flown by! Yesterday was an exciting day!! I got a little lump in my throat when I heard them announce Dr. Matthew Todd Hoekstra. I'm so proud of my husband!
When you receive a doctorate degree, you are also "hooded." At Western, they let the family participate in the hooding ceremony, so Matt's mom and I had the honor of putting Matt's hood on him after he received his diploma. It was a special moment.
It was 90 degrees out, so we took a few quick pictures and took off shortly after!
