Precious Little Case

My nephew, Case, who will be 4 months next week, was scheduled to have surgery today to remove two small hernias. After a rather sleepless night for Ashley, she and my mom took him in this morning. Unfortunately he is pretty congested, so the doctors told them that they have to wait with the surgery, probably weeks. Although the procedure is minor, it is unsettling to think of such a small baby being put under anesthesia. The poor little guy recently had to switch over to formula which has caused him to be pretty constipated so the hernias pop out and cause him quite a bit of pain when he has to push. He was in this morning to get x-rays to check out the congestion. Please say a little prayer for the Lord's hand to be over him (& Ashley!) today and in the next few weeks.
