A Servant Heart

Yesterday our pastor spoke about John, the disciple of love, and how after Jesus washed John's feet, John referred to himself as the disciple Jesus loved not out of arrogance but because that was such a perfect example of love. He then challenged all of the men in our church to be spiritual leaders and "feet washers." To live lives filled with perfect love. My dad has been such an amazing example of what a spiritual leader and servant of Jesus Christ looks like. I think in many ways he has sacrificed much to work and serve in professions that involve 'washing people's feet' each and every day. I'm so blessed to have that example to look up to. I love you so much dad!
