This weekend was Matt's Saturday to work, but he got off early, so we took off and spent the late afternoon/early evening at the beach. It was as close to the perfect day at the beach as I've ever had. Matt surfed a little bit while I read a book. We walked down the coast, and enjoyed our picnic dinner together. We find the beach to be a perfect and much needed "vacation" from the grind of our daily lives. The air seems fresher, the people more relaxed, and the expanse of God's amazing grace spread out before our very eyes.The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Psalm 19:1
