Spark People


Over the last two years (I blame grad school) I have gained a bit of weight, and have just been trying for seemingly FOREVER to get into more healthy eating and exercise habits. I have a SERIOUS weekness for sweets. I heard about this website on the radio a few weeks ago, and after a weekend vacation involving lots of eating and some nudging from my husband, I finally decided to check it out. I love it...so far! It allows you to set goals and keep a daily record of calorie consumption and exercise. One of my favorite things is the recipe calculator that allows you to enter your ingredients and breaks down the nutritional info. The Type A side of my personality is becoming slightly obsessed with the detail of it all! But it is keeping me on track so far...and I figured maybe if I would post about it on my blog...I would have even more reason to stay accountable! :) If there is a part of you that is Type A, like me, you might like it too!!
