Exciting News!

I've been waiting to write this post because I wanted to take a picture of the beautiful flowers Matt got me, but I can't find my camera charger...so...here it is minus the pictures...

I found out Monday night that I passed my Comprehensive Exam!!! Now I feel like it will be smooth sailing to the end. I have to get all of my practicum hours (240 of face-to-face counseling) and my degree will be officially complete. Things are going very well on that front. I have said to several people over the last few weeks that I can not imagine an environment in which I could or would be learning more.

I called Matt from my practicum site on Monday night to find out if there was anything in the mail from Chapman because it had been about 4 weeks. He said nope, and was pretty convincing, I might add. Well, I happened to beat him home because he was at his parent's house watching the Spurs game. I was glancing through the mail on the counter when I saw an envelop from Chapman...I openned it...and proceded to jump around the kitchen/living room squealing. Then I read it a few more times just to make sure. Matt showed up a few minutes later with a beautiful bouquet of roses, my FAVORITE kind of Ben & Jerry's ice cream (Dublin Mudslide), and a bottle of Pinot Grigio!!! Is he sweet, or what?!?
