I'm not very good at keeping secrets...and so I'm going to post about this and ask you to pray for God's continued hand over us and our decisions. We openned escrow on this house today! (This is the dream house I mentioned in a previous post.) I am....overwhelmed, surprised, nervous, excited, and a little freaked out. This is a huge HUGE commitment. These are crazy economic times. If you've done this before...is it normal to feel all of these things?There are still a few things (namely: inspection & appraisal) that need to happen smoothly for this to be a done deal. And nothing so far has necessarily been what I would call "smooth" with this seller. There is a chance that it won't appraise for our offering price which could possibly start another round of negotiations. And so we continue to pray that God would reveal His will to us, and our ears would be open to hear His voice.

Hokey toots... that is one big looking house!! Wowsers...definitly room in that one to have your Canadian Cousin and her family come for a visit!! It is TOTALLY normal to have all those feelings. I don't think I slept for a couple nights before/after purchasing our first house. In fact, now that we are in the market for a house again I still have to calm my butterflies about the proccess. HOpe that things take a turn for the smooth and that things work out as they should!!
