Roller. Coaster. No two words could sum up this week any better. Uhg. I'm tired. I mean, usually I LOVE roller coasters...but this week, WOW. Here's what's been going on...in a nut shell. On Tuesday I started experiencing a lot of anxiety about the house...some stuff came up in regards to our home loan application, student loan debt, credit report, etc. and I guess you could say I started freaking out a little bit. While I'm extremely proud of our educational "achievements" let's just say, they cost us a pretty penny. So there was that, and a very substantial loan that is coming up duplicated on our credit report, and another school loan of mine that...well there's no other way to put it than that I didn't really know existed until about two days ago due to a switch in lender that I must have missed the memo on. I mean I signed for it etc. so it's all on me, but yah... lots of anxiety.Matthew and I communicated with each other throughout the day on Wednesday and prayed about it together before we went to bed and came back to a point of feeling at peace about it, and resolution that this would be a great investment in the long run. I think I just had a mini-breakdown.
Fast forward to last night, right after we enjoyed a fabulous dinner - chili and corn bread - with Matt's parents and grandparents. Our agent called. Bottom line is that there is some illegal stuff going on. We're ticked. It's crazy. I feel like it wouldn't be wise to post the details because there may be legal procedings. I will say that at this point, it doesn't look like we're in a position to lose money, which is good. I don't know what will transpire today. From this point, it could only get crazier.
Here's what I do know, God is faithful and good! I'm not just saying that, I mean it. Mini-breakdown behind me and all.
PS - do you know what's good for breakdowns? cookies & cream ice cream & homemade hot fudge!
