In a few short hours my mom & dad & the youngest 2 of my 3 sisters will be leaving the snowy banks of northwest Iowa and boarding a plane bound for the sun-filled (fingers crossed) land of SoCal. I'm extra excited to see them this time. I mean, I'm always excited to see them but for some reason this time I'm just longing for some family time!!

Here's what we have on the agenda:
- Celebrate Mom & Kelsey's birthdays (my hubby is going to make cupcakes while I'm on my way to the airport tonight...he's the best!)
- Play Ticket to Ride (the fun game Matt got for Christmas)
- Go to Disneyland! thanks to a good friend and colleague who has connections
- A trip to Laguna to hang out with Jason & Amanda and see their new place
- A possible trip to San Diego on Monday if the fam is down
- Surfing and a bon fire at San O
- Hike the Claremont Wilderness Trail
I wish I could close my eyes right now and magically appear at LAX at 6:15 tonight :) So ready for them to be here!

Ahh, you guys will have so much fun! What a great itenary! Sorry about the house, but isn't it so good when God protects us from ourselves sometimes (well all the time I suppose). I know you guys will find the perfect house soon!
Have fun! I sure hope we can do a trip to see you some time soonish (as in within the next 2 years)... if you'll have us of course!!
