There's nothing quite like a trip to the slopes to remind you that you're not 21 any more...

On Wednesday night we braved the icy conditions and set to the slopes of Mountain High. One of the employees told Meredith they'd used up their season's allotment of water for fake snow and it was evident. Some fluffy real snow would have been ideal. I was also reminded that if and when I ever do go skiing again it's best to stick to the green "gentle groomed slopes for beginners" instead of attempting the blue "moderately sloped trails that are challenging in some places." I don't do challenging in some places well. But aside from a momentary loss of control and epic wipeout (on my part) and some trouble getting off the lift (on Matt's part) we had a really great time.
