My poor baby had a pretty high fever the last 3 days. I took her in Friday after seeing 105 on the thermometer Thursday night. That will get a mama's heart beating! However, they didn't really find anything. It was a traumatizing appointment because they insisted on getting a urine sample to check for a bladder infection (since we're potty training), and because she was in no shape to pea in a cup, they ended up having to restrain her and put in a catheter. I almost started crying :( But it came back clear. Anyways, this morning her fever finally subsided and she started getting a little rash on her cheeks, behind her ears and at the base of her neck. About an hour later it spread to her tummy and back. Looks pretty likely that she has Roseola.
So thankful to some of our close friends for helping use out last night so I could get out of the house (much needed!) and Matt's sister this morning so I could be at church for my mentee's Profession of Faith. Hopefully our girl is on the mend. Can't wait to sanitize my house this week...

I agree with the sad face. Just continue to hold and love her and I will hold you all up in prayer for a speedy healing.
