....we'll be homeowners next week Tuesday. Barring any unforeseen circumstances (very necessary qualifier in the real estate world) we should be holding keys a week from tomorrow. Yikes! What a range of emotions the last month has brought with it. Now, I think we're finally able to enjoy a little bit of the excitement. Momentarily anyways, until the reality of what a HUGE project this is going to be sets in. And I'm faced with the fact that my participation in the work will be minimal, although I can guarantee to keep helpers well hydrated and fed!
I wish you could all come and take a "pre-renovations" tour. The house has a long ways to go, but we're excited about the potential we see. We spent most of the day Saturday driving around to different flooring outlets, and picking up laminate and hard wood flooring samples. My next step is to pick out paint colors because that will be one of the first projects before we tear out all of the carpet and flooring. Decorating is not my forte, so this should be interesting! I'll make sure to post some before pictures this week!! THANK YOU for all your prayers!

Ooh, how fun! I LOVE to decorate and pick out colors...sure wish my swollen feet could make it there to spend your money:) Ha! From one preggo to another, take it easy girl, don't push yourself!
