5 sleeps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait to see my family in less than a week! We're flying out of LAX bright and early on Christmas Day and hope to arrive at my parent's house around 5 for Christmas dinner with the troops. Here's a few things I can't wait to do...

-cuddle with my nephew Azariah!

-take lots of pictures of the 3 "Doornenbal" grandkids.

-eat yummy food with great company.

-sneak in a visit or two with friends from college.

-meet Dani's boyfriend Jory!

-sit outside in the hot tub in the thick of winter. (On my list of things I most certainly CAN wait to do is wear a swimsuit for the first time post-baby. Good thing my family loves me unconditionally :)

-make the MOST DELICIOUS olive cheese bread for my family because I know they'll LOVE it! (Click on the link and print this recipe right now. You. Will. Thank. Me.)

-introduce Emma to my extended family and see all of my cousins' kiddos who are about a foot taller than the last time I saw them.

-Celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, The Rescuer!!! (I'm reading Emma The Jesus Storybook Bible and I just love it. Throughout Old and New Testament stories it talks about the coming of The Rescuer. The creation story brought me to tears. It's definitely a book I'll be gifting over and over again.)

This little lady is at home with her daddy today. Matt is blessed by the county to get 2 weeks of "bonding time" for paternity leave, so he's bonding with his favorite little girl today :)
