The poor shepherd got pee'ed on by the donkey. He was such a good sport, it was a stubborn thing but he kept a smile on his face!
I kept on getting hay in my sandals and again, couldn't help but imagine what it must have been like for Mary and Joseph to bring baby Jesus into the world in a stable.
I love Emma's face in this picture. I believe Matt and I were looking at each other trying not to move our lips while saying, uummm, did you realize there were going to be so many people taking pictures of us when we signed up to do this?!?? Can't wait to show Emma these pictures when she's a little older and tell her the Christmas story!
