9 months came and went (last Friday). Hokey Pete. I've been so busy chasing my little mover, I didn't even have a second to sit down and blog about it. But I thought I'd just share nine things I adore about my little Emma girl really quick...

1. I know it's nap time when she starts snuggling her face into my neck.

2. Almost every time after she sneezes she makes this cute little noise that's a cross between a grunt and a sigh. Love it.

3. When she's really hungry, she does this crazy hyper, 'I can't contain my excitement about the next bite', sort of dance in her high chair. Kind of like if she were standing up she would be jumping up and down waving her arms in the air.

4. I'm usually feeding her when Matthew gets home from work, and she gets a HUGE smile on her face every time he walks in the door. She loves her daddy so much. Even when she's had a "fussy day" she's nothing but smiles when he walks in!

I caught them together in the back yard the other day and had to sneak a picture, it was so sweet.

5. She recently started reaching for me (us) to pick her up! I love it.

6. If the girl gets a leaf or napkin or receipt in her hands, she tears it to shreds with a vengeance. She's got a little bit of a destructive streak in her, but it's still cute. Ask me again in 3 months!

7. I love her open mouth, drooly baby kisses!!

8. When she wants to get out of the pack n' play she does this...trying to eat her way out?!?

9. When she wakes up in the morning she usually lays in bed and babbles and coos for about 15 minutes. And then when she hears one of us open the door her head snaps around and she gets a big smile on her face that says 'you're just the person I wanted to see'! Can't think of any way I'd rather start my day!
