First, a close up of our garden - sweet corn, tomatoes, squash, zucchini & onions in the back. Just planted pumpkin, cantelope, watermelon and beans in the front. Kale and cabbage on far right. Any good ideas for zucchini are more than welcome! It's coming out of my ears.
Then & Now:
We've still got a few big projects planned for the summer, and have a ways to go on the backyard, but as you can see it's undergone some huge improvements! My mom, dad and Kelsey are coming out in a few weeks to help us put in pavers and a fire pit (to the left of the patio in the picture above). We're going to order a truck load of wood chips for ground cover under the fruit trees and under the tree where the dog kennels used to be. We're loving the grass, and have really enjoyed being able to live in our backyard a little already! We can't wait to make it even more functional this summer!
