When I was pregnant, I started doing prenatal pilates. 9 months LATER...I've finally started doing pilates again! Last week I was working out with my friend Kaylyn (she's prego now!) when she looked at me and said, "Let's hold each other accountable to do at least 10 minutes every day for a month." We use these really affordable 10 minute solutions dvd's - I do pilates for beginners and she does prenatal - you can do 10-50 minutes depending on what your day looks like, how you feel, what kind of mood you're in, etc. I love it! Let me tell you, you'll be burning after 30 minutes. I've finally come to the realization that working out is just not going to happen unless it's something quick and easy that I can do at home (more than likely during nap time). I'm so excited because I lost about two pounds this week. Accountability is definitely what makes the difference for me when it comes to working out because Lord knows I've tried a million different workout fads. Today is Day 8 for us! I'm ready to feel more toned again and say good bye to this blasted muffin top!
K is so encouraging and she's just what I need to DO THIS! Yesterday she sent me a text that said "Happy Day 7!" :) Love her. Love this. I can't recommend these pilates dvd's enough!
