My husband and I have a bad habit, that's better (relatively speaking) than our other bad habit. We made a pact of sorts not to vent to co-workers about other co-workers. So instead if we need to vent our frustration to someone, we email each other. (This, I recognize, is not the best practice either.) But it was hapenning this morning. (Sorry to shatter you're impression of the fact that we're both perfect!!) While I was puzzling over the fact that we both seem to have the innate inability to just get over these little annoyances, and instead often let them fester under our skin and significantly impact our attitude for the day, I logged onto Facebook.
The very first status update read:
"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus..." Philippians 2:5
Sometimes He speaks to us subtly, and sometimes he uses _____ to knock us upside the head. This was more of a knock you upside the head moment for me.
Thank you Jesus.
P.S. - If you could, would you please pray for my cousin Kristen and her family.
