Sadly, I have no pictures from this weekend....yet, anyways. If I get my hands on some I'll post them later. We spent the weekend, (a very quick 36 hour weekend) in Pella, Iowa celebrating Matthew's grandpa & grandma Fopma's 60th anniversary. The whole extended family...41 in all...gathered for the occasion. All of the cousins with the exception of one wife and two great grandkids, traveled from Connecticuit to Chicago to California to get together. I met four of Matt's cousins for the first time, and got reacquainted with those I haven't seen since our wedding. It was a neat weekend and we were glad we could be there. What a blessing to celebrate 60 years of marriage! God is good!

We're exhausted. Neither of us slept very well, and the flight back was very uncomfortable. But it's opening week!!! Rain rain go away, so we can watch the Angels play! The Angels open against the Twins which equals a husband vs wife rivalry. Can't wait!! Bring on the hot dogs and peanuts.
