25 weeks

The last few weeks have been great! My uterus has now reached the size of a soccer ball...this means prior to 7 am, it takes me several tries to get my legs in my actual pant legs and it's getting somewhat more challenging to tie my tennis shoes. I took the plunge and bought a maternity swimsuit, we're in for the long haul this summer! Baby Hoekstra is around nine inches and growing rapidly at more than a pound and a half in weight. I have been feeling lots and lots of movement all the time, which is so fun! He or she kicks my bladder on a regular basis these days, and I can feel the third trimester coming on simply because I'm pretty much back to having to frequent the restroom every 45 minutes or more! I went to a graduation ceremony at a big university campus yesterday and my first few minutes were spent scoping out the nearest restrooms :) I feel like I have a ravenous appetite all day every day, and usually eat about every 3 hours! Consequently, and, well because I'm growing a baby, the number on the scale continues to creep into neverbeforeseen territory which is a bit of an odd feeling but normal nonetheless. My crazy dreams came back this weekend in full force, which has been a normal occurance for me sporadically during this pregnancy.

In other news, we made another offer on a house last week. We've been praying boldly lately that if it's the Lord's will this is something that would happen soon for us. But it's hard to get excited on that front anymore. We'd so appreciate your prayers in this area, specifically for patience, understanding and unity as a couple (particularly because I'm in "oh, let's just buy it" mode when it comes to pretty much any house we look at...my poor husband).

Have a great week!!!

Keep us posted on the house. I hope it works out and you get a house you will love! Remember, whatever house you get, the ones you love will be there with you. Hope you clearly know God's will in this matter... I do understand your stress.

Yeah! It would be so much fun to bring "baby" home to YOUR HOUSE.
bless Robyn & Matthew with just the right home in just the right timing, Lord!
