women's adventure weekend 2010

This week the guys packed up their tents and flannel camping shirts (oh wait...maybe that's just my hubby) and hauled off to somewhere 5 hours away in the mountains with no showers or cell phone service. Annually known as Men's Adventure Weekend at our church. Full of hiking, fishing, sitting around the campfire, and eating like men or so I'm told. This is Matt's first year...I'm so hoping he had a good time!

The women...our "adventure" was composed of...

- Cleaning house like a crazy woman (love having a clean house, bad at keeping it that way)
- Getting the baby's room ready for the crib that came Thursday!
- Eating Chipotle
- Watching Babies (the movie...not the 4 in womb...very national geographic)
- Doing laundry (a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do)
- Drinking Starbucks (my new fav....grande iced decaf americano with classic syrup and cream...try saying that 5 times fast)
- Shopping (got a few new maternity tops for this growing belly)
- Eating Panera
- Sun bathing
- Indulging in Yogurtland
- Watching Dear John (so good)

The perfect mixture of work and play. I feel great! Except I accidentally turned on the alarm yesterday while cleaning, which was set for 6am and can't fall back asleep. Can't wait for my hubby to come home! Always miss him when he's away.
