10 things I bet you don't know about me...

the good the bad and the ugly

1. I really really wanted to date my husband in college for a long time before we started dating...so I made him lots of Scotcheroo's. Too many. He doesn't like them much anymore.

2. My husband and I sang Shine on Us to each other at our wedding. Since, it has been my prayer for our marriage. Lord let your light, light of your face, shine on us. Lord let your grace, grace from your hand, fall on us.

3. I only wash the sheets on our bed about once a month. (I hope that doesn't change the way you feel about me!) Don't worry, I always wash the sheets before we have guests!!

4. I normally sleep with 4 pillows and have added another to the mix since I got pregnant. Also have to have a fan on when I sleep. I'm a very particular and light sleeper, it sort of drives Matt nuts.

5. I played the French Horn in band until my junior year in high school, just like my dad only he played much longer. My band teacher once told me that I have perfect pitch, in the sense that whenever he said a note, i.e. B flat, I could play it without having to "find" it...not in the sense that whenever I sing I'm right on key!

6. I fall asleep during probably 75% of the movies we watch and usually watch the ending the next morning.

7. I have a particularly short fuse when I'm driving. I become easily frustrated. I really hate this about myself.

8. These are a few of my favorite things: grande white mochas, Rubio's fish tacos, Target clearance racks, the beach at sunset, a glass of wine while making dinner, the Glee soundtrack...

9. Last year I helped 16 women and 1 man process and work through the effects of physically, verbally, and emotionally abusive relationships. Because of and thanks to them, I'll never be the same.

10. The second I get home I change into comfy pants and a T-shirt. Even if I'm only going to be home for about 2 hours before going somewhere again.
