....that contrary to popular belief (OK, well really only my own intuition)....we're having a little girl!
If she really is a she, I wonder how she feels about her daddy calling her "little guy" :) Matt is in (or on his way to) Chicago right now with his brother Travis, who will be starting a new job there. Before he left he gave me a hug and said, take care of that little guy. He's getting soft and it is the sweetest thing. The good news is, we have several girl names picked out, but are running quite stuck when it comes to boy names.
So here's where I stand right now....there's a 50% chance it's a girl and a 50% chance it's a boy!
I will leave you with a few random facts, and apologize if I've been boring you with pregnancy posts of late, I just love and want to remember every little thing:
- My sense of smell seems to be extremely heightened and apparently this isn't all that unusual, welcome second trimester
- I don't sleep well when baby daddy isn't home (I realize this has nothing to do with pregnancy)
- Baby H is about the size of an avacado right now, aww
- Tummy Sleeves/Belly Bands are the best
- I hit the 4 month marker yesterday and can't wait to feel the little one kick, any time now, I know it's silly but sometimes I just sit here with my hands on my tummy waiting for that special moment
- There is this thing called pregnancy pity...it is actually quite flattering, but also hillarious...people "remind" you that you should sit down after you've been standing for a while, get something to drink, not lift something heavy or stay out of the sun.
- I'm over Cheetos
- And on to Half Baked (Ben & Jerry's)!!
