Last night my husband indulged me and came along on the search for maternity jeans. Mostly because he needed new running shoes as well. (Not a fan of shopping, that boy.) So we pretty much have a $30 and under rule because Matt's shoes don't last much longer than 6 months.
Anyways, on with the story. Foot Locker has a GREAT clearance section right now. We found 3 pairs of size 13's. Tried them all on. Went for the pair that was on sale for 29.99 (of course). As we're walking out of the store feeling great about hunting down such a good deal, our conversation went a little like this:
Matt: "You know hun, these actually really are good running shoes."
Me: "Really?"
Him: "Uh, yah. They're Air Pegasus." (as if this should mean something to me)
Me: "Oh OK, why does that make them good?"
Him: "Robyn. They're named after a horse. That could fly."
Love him :)
