Do you ever feel like it was almost literally just yesterday that you were 16 and freaking out about what to wear to school, or thinking you were just going to die if you didn't get asked out by ____, or buying your first car, or hanging out with your 6 year old sister (who is now going to be a senior by the way...um, when did that happen?!?!!), or babysitting to earn a few extra bucks, or stressing out about where to go to college. Yah. I'm kind of sitting here wondering when exactly I went from 16 to 27 in what sometimes feels like the blink of an eye.....
Here are a few statements that carry with them a certain shock-factor for me, yet are very true of my life....
I own a home.
I have been married to the love of my life for five years.
We live in California. (maybe another post on this some time)
I'm going to be a mom in two months.
While these statements are quite shocking at times, and I find myself wondering when I became a bill-paying, home-owning, dinner-making adult they are also evidence to me of the greatness of my God.
Wow. God is so good. God is so good. God is so good; He's so good to me!
